We can’t promise that choosing from our Coastal restaurant menu here at Sneem Hotel will be easy, but we can promise a fantastic selection of fresh local food. Our chef buys fish directly from the local fisherman so you may even see the day’s catch being delivered to the restaurant by boat. It’s no wonder a customer favourite is a plate of oysters – still salty from and cold from the sea, washed down with a creamy pint of Guinness. Coastal restaurant is ideally located overlooking Goldens Cove, a delightful stop on the Ring of Kerry. It is open to guests and visitors for dinner daily, with a menu offering variety of Irish and International cuisine. Inspiring views of the sea and mountains of the Ring of Kerry beautifully compliment your delicious meal.

Our food ethos is to feature the freshest local produce, cooked to perfection and our menus include beef, lamb, organic chicken and vegetarian options. Sneem Black Pudding, from award winning craft butcher Peter O’Sullivan, is unique to the village of Sneem and is famous for its distinctively sweet, earthy flavour with hints of herbs and peat. It’s a must at breakfast time but we feature it on our lunchtime and evening menus too. Rossdohan Harbour is the lovely sheltered harbour that provides fresh seafood every day and you will quite often see the local boats delivering straight off the boat to our kitchen team. We source our meats locally with our pork from Tralee and our cured bacon from Limerick and of course local Sneem lamb.
