Cahersiveen boats a superb yaching marina and harbour which gives the town a cosmopolitan flavour. The Gulf Stream waters of the Atlantic wash through
the naturally formed Valentia harbour, creating a safe haven in all weather conditions. Cahersiveen has a reputation for some of the best deep sea angling in Europe and the town's long sea-faring tradition ensures a deep-rooted understanding of the needs of sailors, and of boats of all types and sizes.

Cahersiveen enjoys splendid views of the Fertha Estuary surrounded by Killelan, Castlequin and Cnoc na Tobar mountains. Nearby the O'Connell Park offers visitors a tranquil setting for a peaceful moment, enjoying the river flowing past. A five minute drive away is the White Strand which is enjoyed year round for it's fresh air and amazing views. Cahersiven is proud to have the only Daniel O' Connell Memorial church in Ireland with only a few in the world dedicated to the layman.
