The Sneem JFK 50 Mile Challenge takes place on Saturday 20th May 2017.
You may run or walk in the 50, 26 or 15 mile challenges. Registration is now open on www.active.com, search for Sneem JFK. This year's charity is Childaid. Previous participants will be familiar with Graham Tobin from the Irish Army who has brought a group of reserves with him every year to participate in the JFK challenge and Childaid is the charity that they run. Sponsorship cards will be sent out on registration. Please keep an eye on the Sneem JFK Facebook page for updates.
The Ring of Beara Charity Cycle takes place on Saturday 27th May 2017. Participants will have a choice of an exciting 140km or 110km cycle, by the rugged Wild Atlantic Way coastal route on the Beara Peninsula. The route will pas some of Ireland’s most picturesque and quaint towns including Ardgroom, Eyeries, Allihies, Castletownbere, Adrigole, Glengarriff and back to Kenmare town. The Ring of Beara Cycle Kenmare will support local charities through the organisation of this event.
This 112 mile leisure cycle takes place around the picturesque Ring of Kerry. Join in with thousands of other leisure cyclists and enjoy a fun and rewarding day’s cycling, while at the same time fundraising for worthy charities. Live entertainment in the evening.
