August 2021

Stayed for 3 nights recently.. Beautiful view, slow pace of life, very rustic surroundings, unspoiled, pretty village. Hotel was very clean, helpful staff and an ideal base to explore South kerry. The rates were by far the cheapest around for peak time. Beautiful piano at reception and a placid resident dog to greet you! Really enjoyed it.

"Lovely hotel, friendly staff"
On arrival at the hotel, we were greeted by friendly staff and that experience continued for all of our stay. The room was lovely and compared to where we were staying in Killarney it was luxury for less. We ate in the hotel bar that evening and the food was amazing. Again the staff were so friendly and helpful. We had a great night's sleep and the breakfast was lovely too. When we checked out, Amanda was so friendly to us. We commented how relaxed the whole place and rested we all felt. Will definitely be back.

"Tranquil spot"
Really enjoyed our third visit to Sneem Hotel.
Such a peaceful, relaxing spot. Accomadation fabulous. Food excelkent and staff very helpful, friendly and professional. Will be booking again.
It is a great base for wonderful beaches nearby.

"Beautiful location for a family holiday"
We stayed in the Golden Cove self catering apartments for a family break with 2 children. The apartments were very spacious and so well equipped. Dishwasher, washing machine etc which all make travelling with young children much easier. The location is just stunning, beautiful walks around the ground and just a short stroll into Sneem.

We dined in the hotel on one occasion and it was very nice and a stunning setting for dinner. The staff were all very nice and helpful. We will be back as soon as we can!

July 2015

There were 7 of us in our group we stayed here for 4 nights, we walked a lot during the day so it was lovely to go back to the hotel in the evening, entertainment every night very spacious room, lovely staff very good service. Lovely view from the restaurant.

"Excellent short break"
Apart from the weather, we greatly enjoyed 4 nights in this comfortable and well-run hotel. Our sea-facing room was extremely well appointed and had that wow factor on first entrance. All the staff were helpful and friendly and the food was of a high standard. Breakfast provided a great choice and the restaurant service and menu was excellent. The bar menu and food quality was practically the same as the restaurant but the ambiance and service didn't quite match that standard. Highly recommended as a base to this most scenic part for SW Ireland ...

"A gem in the very beautiful Sneem"
We are just back from a lovely 2 night break in the sneem hotel we stayed in on of the superior sea view rooms and it was so luxurious. I cannot fault anything about the hotel. The bed was a queen size and so comfy and the room was spotless. Bar food was delicious and we dined a la carte on the 2nd night it was glorious. I had trout and husband had a juicy steak, both were mouthwatering. The staff are all lovely and the view from our room was stunning. It's only about 3 or 4 minutes walk into the village of Sneem on the beautiful Ring of Kerry. Loved every minute of our stay.

"A gem of a hotel"
Stayed here twice now and it's our new favourite hotel. From the moment you arrive the staff are friendly and welcoming. Very new building so the place is spotless and very well decorated. Rooms are lovely, price is reasonable and it's a 10 minute walk to Sneem and its lively bars and restaurants. Food in the hotel bar is very good and the breakfast is excellent. Beautiful seating area out the back for alfresco dining or just to enjoy a relaxing drink and take in the view. We're already planning our next trip.

"Great location for Ring of Kerry"
Booked an Appartment here for a couple of nights when we decided on a base for tackling the Ring of Kerry on bicycles. Really loved the location and ambience of the hotel. Sneem is a charming town with some nice pubs and lots of character. Would recommend this highly as a base for touring Ring of Kerry on foot, bicycle or even in a car.

"Wonderful location in a nice village"
We had a very large, clean, and well kept room on the second floor that had a wonderful view. The rooms were much larger than average and most appreciated. The breakfast was good and it had a lively bar with entertainment the night we were there. There is a very fun river walk path that goes through the woods and exits at the village. I would definitely stay here again.

"Great family stay at The Sneem Hotel"
We stayed in a family room and the following week a self catering apartment. Both gave us a great stay. The hotel stay included breakfast on both mornings and 1 dinner. Staff were very attentive, the bar served a great selection of beer (Fransican Well beers tap are excellent) and the food for both breakfast and dinner was of good quality. Stunning views and Sneem village is lovely. It all added up to a nice relaxing stay and will book again.

"Captures the Essence of Irish Landscape"
The large veranda off the dining room focuses on atypical Irish landscape: water, mountains, swirls of clouds, and the faint braying of donkeys off in the distant fields. Just inside the hotel veranda is the dining room where scrumptious hot and cold breakfasts await; the well prepared evening meals feature fish, steak, poultry, and soups, an Irish staple.Cleanliness is evident everywhere in this modern hotel. On the property is a(hidden) fairy land with a rope swing, tiny fairy-like dishes, and even a fairy if one knows where to look. And then there is "Red", the resident Irish setter who adds a homelike touch with his aimless wandering over the property only to settle for a nap in one of the lobby chairs. The village is just a short walk away.
